Be prepared to be embarrassed if you come here, especially if you're young. I will admit, I've never been to a consignment store before, and I didn't quite know how they worked. But, being the broke university student that I am, I decided to try getting rid of some clothes. I made sure everything was in good shape and laundered before I went. I dropped off my clothes, as did a friend of mine, and came back an hour later. I would have left content if the woman there had simply said "I didn't find anything I could resell" and sent us on our merry way. Instead, she repeated multiple time that my clothes were "done" and that my clothes had no value. She told me the thrift store would maybe sell my clothes for 50 cents. She talked to me like I was stupid. I will admit that a couple pieces had wear, but many of the clothes were things I had never worn and some were brands like Nike etc... Overall, I don't care that she didn't take any of my clothes, that's fine, I was just trying to purge my closet. She's trying to run a business, I get that and I didn't know what kind of clothes were up to standard and now I do. I took my clothes to a donate bin and dropped them in. However, I don't appreciate being talked down to. I will never recommend this store to any students (who make up a good portion of business in this small town). It didn't even seem like the kind of store for young adults anyway, not the kinds of styles people my age appreciate.

I love this store! It is a gem in our community and the family that runs it provides exceptional service and a friendly atmosphere.

I have been bringing mine and especially my kids' clothes here for several years ... in a day and age where money is tight and you're kids grow faster than you can buy cloths, I have to say this store is a God-send. I have had nothing but great and friendly service both on the consignment and buying end of things and highly recommended it to anyone.

Coming here was a humiliating experience and I definitely will not be putting myself through that again. I currently have an overabundance of clothes and I thought I could bring my clothes here for a little pocket cash. I brought in a storage bin of clothes and waited an hour for the woman to look through them. When I came back she went on about how my clothes were too worn out to sell and that I didn't have nice enough brands. I would be fine if she had just said that she couldn't take any of my clothes and sent me on my way but she was incredibly disrespectful and told me repeatedly that my clothes had no value. I admit that some of my clothes were worn but there were some very nice items. Among my donations were a brand new Old Navy shirt, a very lightly worn Garage shirt, and a lovely American Eagle sweater that I had barely touched. I don't know why she treated me so poorly when moments before she had been talking to an older lady with the utmost respect and patience. It could have been a learning experience about what to bring and what not to bring to a consignment store but instead I had to endure this woman shaming my clothes in front of me. I was too embarrassed to say anything so I was lucky that I had another friend there to say that we didn't know and bring me out. I will not be recommending this to anyone I know and will warn them about the terrible service via the school's email service, which goes to all students and staff, at the university.
