Excellant chinese food freshly prepared by one of the family that own and operate the restaurant. Nice quiet place to eat.
This was my first time visiting this restaurant and WOW!! The food was delicious! It was fresh and the quality was good! I definitely recommend this restaurant if you want some amazing Chinese food!! Very friendly service. I can't wait to visit again! :)
Had lunch here with the boys. It's typical old school small town Chinese restaurant. Food was very fresh and tasty. Friend 1 and 3 had "plate special #1", sweet and sour pork, rice and veggies. Rice was the typical small town semi fried rice with frozen 3 veg addition (not the high point of the dish) but again, the veggies were fresh stir fried and the pork very tender.Friend 2 had the won ton soup and Shanghai noodles. Wontons were homemade and very tasty. Broth had the right amount of salt. Didn't need soy sauce at all. Shanghai noodles nicely al dente.I also had the wonton soup and beff chop suey (kinda doing an "Atkins-lite" diet of sorts). Nice variety of veggies with the sprouts and the beef was really tender.Above all, besides the restaurant experience, you really have to check out downtown Lacombe, Alberta. Most of the buildings are early 1900s vintage and have been fully restored. It's a really funky little downtown with some really eclectic shops. Definitely a great motorcycle or day trip stop. Check it out!
This is our family's go-to for Chinese food. Delicious dumplings, crispy ginger beef, and yummy egg rolls. A-1 is a family run restaurant, they are always so kind and friendly.
Best chinese place. Way better than lucky dragon and the one at greenway inn. Very efficient friendly staff. Great with kids n all ages. They aim to please
